Title : Fuel-Cycle Emissions for Conventional and Alternative-Fuel Vehicles: An Assessment of Air ToxicsPublication Date : August 01, 2000
Authors : J. Winebrake, D. He, M. Wang
Abstract : This report provides information on Argonne's efforts to use the GREET model to estimate air toxics emissions. GREET was modified to account for the following important toxic pollutants: acetaldehyde, benzene, 1,3-butadiene, and formaldehyde. This is the first to consider fuel-cycle emissions of these pollutants for alternative transportation fuels and advanced vehicle technologies. Through this study, an air toxics version of the GREET model was developed.
